Classroom Discipline 101
Welcome to the Classroom Discipline 101 Blog. I have been a teacher in the Los Angeles’ school systems for over 20 years, and I know how to get a classroom disciplined under any circumstance.
- I have taught over 11,000 different secondary students in the inner-city and elsewhere around Los Angeles of all ages, abilities and ethnic backgrounds.
- I have been a full time teacher, long term substitute or day to day substitute in over 80 secondary schools.
- I have taught juvenile offenders in the Los Angeles County probation camps
- in other words I had to learn how to control my classroom fast or I wouldn’t still be a teacher.
In my Blog I write about my experiences over the years in the hope that other teachers can benefit from the techniques I have learned in order to get and maintain a respectful class each and every year. Because we all know when students are on task and focused they learn – go figure!
I have also written an eBook ( Classroom Discipline 101 ) in which I reveal the “secrets” I think every teacher should know in order to get control in their classroom for good. If you know of any other fellow teachers who could benefit from a quiet controlled classroom please send them my way.
Here’s to success in the classroom -
